As one of my first instructors entering the dor to Stockton State College, Paul gave the impression that I was in a special place. Although Stockton was a special place, I realize now it was he who was one of those dedicated, peaceful loving people that made it so great. I will never forget taking Marx and Freud with him. As strong as his opinions were was as strong as his compassion.
I remember how he talked about all the noise in the world: so much TV, radio... noise and he often drove home turning the radio off to here the silence or whatever sounds were just around him.
I will miss him and his ability to create a cirlce of peace around him.
