Miss Bea, Our Blessing from Christ

Miss Bea was a rare and precious jewel; one who will be dearly missed. She loved the Lord with all her heart and she knew that Jesus was with her every minute of the day. She never tired of hearing the Word of God and was always ready to declare His goodness and mercy. It was a joy to worship and fellowship with Miss Bea at Hope Christian Fellowship. A big smile on her face, kind words from her lips, and love for the people, especially the children, were her hallmarks. What a great prayer warrior we have lost! Her prayers were cherished. When visiting with her, Miss Bea always spoke of her grandchildren and how proud she was of each and every one of them. She spoke of how she and her husband built their house together. She loved that house and working out in the yard. She never felt alone there because she said she knew Jesus was with her. We would go to encourage her, yet when we would leave her presence we wondered who really ministered to whom. She will be missed, but we thank God for being able to share part of our lives with her and that we will see her once again in glory. Miss Bea was truly a rare and precious jewel.
