Wagner, John H. 84 of Northfield went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17th at his home. John was born in Ventnor and was an area resident all of his life. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War as an Electronics Technician. He retired from John Sykes Roofing After his retirement he worked for Maintained Domain and then for his brother William Wagner and Son.
He is predeceased by his parents; William and Hazel, his sisters; Hazel Wagner, Frances Sykes, and Winifred Young, his brothers; Harvey and Oliver Wagner.
John is survived by his wife Martha (Betty) Wagner, his children; Cheryl L. Tracey and Harvey T. Wagner, a proud grandfather to his grandchildren; Erin (Matt), Mike (Megan), Aliann, Heather, Alicia, one great granddaughter, Thora, his brother, William F. Wagner (Dolores), his sister, Marian E. Patroni, and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 2pm until 3pm at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road, Northfield. A Service will begin at 3pm. Burial will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
