William Henry Sandfort Jr. (Bill)-79 of Galloway, passed away August 9th, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was the son of the late William, Sr. and Margaret Sandfort. He is also predeceased by his brother Thomas Sandfort (Clair). Bill is survived by his loving son, Tim Sandfort who was his caretaker in his final days (Ginny); granddaughters, Melissa Sandfort-Barron (Shawn) and Gabrielle Manning (Nicholas); his great grandson Shawn Barron; his beloved sister Anne Jordan (Howard); and many nieces, nephews and great nephews. Bill’s career as a baker was passed down from his grandfather and father before him. His peers spoke of him as a “legend” in the baking industry. He worked for Dannenbaums Bakery, Ginsberg Bakery, Tropicana and Sands Casino. A visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ 08201 on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 from 9:30-11 with a mass to follow at 11am.
