Dear Smith Family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Pat McGowan called me last night whilst I was at church and I immediately spoke with our priest who is adding you to her prayer list. As you know, Warren and I go back a very long way. We were part of a group of 5 who lived within a block of one another and we did almost everything together. I can remember many poignant things including one time when Warren, Glen, Dan and I accidentally set the brush field on fire; more excitement than our parents wanted. It seems like only yesterday that we were sharing a meal at one of the impromptu dinners that PHS has had over the past years. Warren always had a distinctive voice and a very cheerful manner that I will always remember. He will be sorely missed by those of us who were his longtime friends.
