Obituary for Thomas Andrew McLaughlin

Thomas Andrew McLaughlin
Thomas A. McLaughlin, 39, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on June 2, 2018 following a long battle of addiction. Tommy will not be defined by his addiction, but by his caring and quiet demeanor.

He graduated from E.H.T. High School in 1997, where he excelled in baseball and wrestling. He was proud of his accomplishments in his younger years as well, playing for E.H.T. street hockey, scoring seven goals and two assists in his first-ever tournament in Massachusetts.

Tommy had a passion for music, enjoying many years as a DJ, and boy could he dance! He lit up the dance floor whenever the opportunity arose.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Marjorie McLaughlin; his sister, Lori (Randy) and his brother, Joseph (Melissa); and his nephews, William Rudnick and Caden McLaughlin. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph C. McLaughlin.

A Celebration of Life will take place in August. Details will be announced at a later date.

Donations in Tommy’s memory can be made to: stoptheheroin.org
