Dear Janet & Tom Your dad truly was the “neighborhood dad” when we were kids. I have many memories of hanging out at your house. One is that your dad taught me is rootbeer comes from a sassafras tree. I still remember him holding the root for us to smell. Sending prayers and condolences to all of you.
