Steven "Chuck"  Ricketts Sr.
Ricketts, Steven "Chuck", "The Chuckman" - 56 of Absecon, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving family after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Chuck was raised in Pleasantville and graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1978. He worked for Warner Plumbing for five years before joining the Atlantic City Police Department in 1983. He retired from the department in 2002.

Chuck enjoyed hunting and riding his Harley with his son and brothers. He especially enjoyed fishing with his granddaughters.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon Sr. and Elsie (nee Shubert) Ricketts; and his aunts and uncles, including uncle Johnny.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Robin Packard Ricketts; his children: Suzie, Steven (Theresa), Heather, Danielle Johnson (Anthony), and Morgan Rabush; five grandchildren: Hailey, Kylee, Gracelyn, Gianna, and Joey; his brothers, Ric (Thelma) and Donnie (Donna) Ricketts; his aunts, Katherine "Cookie" Weppler and Joann Shubert; lifelong friends Danny Paules and Carl Saunders; and also a host of extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 11am until 3pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
