Sharon E.  Hawkins
HAWKINS, SHARON EILEEN - of Pleasantville, descended to earth from glory on Monday, May 13,1957 and was given to the late Luke X. Hawkins, Sr. and Rev. Joyce R. Murphy-Hawkins. After triumphantly defeating her many medical obstacles, our heavenly Father lovingly saw fit to reward her for the labor and called her back to glory on Sunday, March 28, 2016.

Sharon was one of six children. She was born in Somers Point and attended Pleasantville and Egg Harbor Twp. Schools. She was last employed by Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City. She was an avid volunteer for the Eastern Service Workers Association in Pleasantville and she also enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

Sharon is predeceased by her brother, Mark Hawkins. She leaves behind to celebrate her unique life, her sons; Anthony Jr., Corey and Christopher Scott; her children’s father, Anthony Scott, Sr; siblings Phyllis, Kimberlee, Luke and Wendell; grandchildren Na’seef and Yusuf Scott, Yanaijah and Yaseer Sharpe; aunts Rev. Shirley E. Ellis and Rev. Barbara Thomas (Uncle Charles); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Home-going services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00am at Crossroad Fellowship, 101 N. First Street, Pleasantville, where a viewing will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville.
