Obituary for Sadie Violet Winifred Casto

Sadie Violet Winifred  Casto
Casto, Sadie (nee Corbyn), 90, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on May 8, 2018 at AtlantiCare Medical Center, Galloway Township.

A resident of Egg Harbor Township for most of her adult life, she was born on January 21, 1928 in Fressingfield, Suffolk County, England.

Sadie came to the United States after World War II on the USAHS Charles A. Stafford in 1947.

Sadie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose true passion was her family and friends who will deeply miss her.

Sadie was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Pvt. Albert J. Casto, Sr.; her sons, Lewis, Albert, Jr. and Mark; her mother and father; her sister, Freda Reeder; and her brothers, Lewis, Frank, and Leslie Corbyn.

Sadie is survived by her beloved daughter, Sadie Casto Rundio and her husband, Dr. Al Rundio of Egg Harbor Township; her beloved daughter, Leslie June Denno and her husband, Harry Denno of King of Prussia, PA; her beloved son, David Casto of Egg Harbor Township; her brother, Fred Corbyn of Fressingfield, Suffolk County, England; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

"l am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me, even if he dies, shall live; and whoever lives and believes in Me, shall never die."

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 15th at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A viewing will be held from 9:00am until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, 109 Blvd. Rt. 50, Mays Landing.
