The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Braun can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Robert David Braun, 68, of Egg Harbor Township, died peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, June 27, 2016.
Bob, who grew up in Millburn and Linwood, was a 1965 graduate of Mainland Regional High School, part of the first graduating class to go through all four years at MRHS. He then earned an undergraduate degree and Master’s of Social Work from Rutgers University. His professional work included Providence House in Atlantic City, Atlantic City Medical Center PIP, Affiliates in Psychotherapy in Northfield, Creative Achievement Academy in Vineland and Family Service Center of Egg Harbor Township.
Bob coached baseball, soccer and softball throughout his life. In his prime, he loved playing volleyball and softball. Lately, he enjoyed fantasy baseball. He was an amazing man who would give you the shirt off of his back. Everyone who knew him loved him.
Bob was predeceased by his father, Howard Braun; his beloved son, Robert Braun Jr.; and his mother, Ann Braun. He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Judy Braun; his daughter, Kelly Dannenhauer; son-in-law, Michael Dannenhauer; his “princess,” granddaughter Hailey Dannenhauer; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Sonya Braun; sisters-in-law, Jamie Hermann-Giagunto and Bette Lee Hermansen; many nieces and nephews, as well as wonderful friends and colleagues.
Visitation will be Friday, July 1 from 2-3 p.m. at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. Services will be at 3 p.m. and the burial will be immediately following at Zion Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township. Bob loved the New York Yankees, so please dress casually, either in Yankees attire or blue.
