Jiampetti, Rita (nee Westhoff) - 85 - passed away February 3, 2009, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Glasgow, MO, the youngest of 7 children. After graduating from business school she met her future husband Louis and moved to Pleasantville, NJ where she married in 1947. She worked in various banking and medical fields, but her greatest enjoyment were her four sons. She loved traveling and spending time with friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Lou in December 1981. Surviving are her sons: Lou (Cecelia), Gary (Denise), Greg (Joanie), Mark (Joanna); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peters Parish for over 60 years, serving as a Eucharistic minister. Contributions can be made to St. Peters Church, Pleasantville.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Church, 25 Black Horse Pike, Pleasantville. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 7 pm until 9 pm at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, and again Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass at the Church.
Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
