Richard  Michael  Olita
Richard Olita, age 66 of Ventnor entered into the gift of Eternal Life on Thursday, February 6, 2014 having received Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Rick's lifelong passion was for sports of all kinds. He was a role model, coach and mentor for young and underprivileged athletes as a young man. He served his country in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam era. Rick will be remembered by his many friends for his charisma and humor. He touched many lives with his kindness and generosity making all who met him feel loved.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Aahna Olita; his wife, Gwen; stepchildren Crystal Calvez and Michael Calvez (Patti); granddaughters, Samantha Calvez, Morgan Botta, Ryleigh Botta and his special lil Angel Cash Obrien; brothers, Jules Olita(Suzann); Art Olita( Maryann); sister in-law Marilyn Olita; lifelong friends Tommy and Karen D'Arcangelo and Ernie Di Bono. He was preceded in death by brother, Nick. A very special thank-you to Dr. Matthews from Atlanticare and to Craig of Home Solutions for the special loving care they provided. There will be a memorial service Tuesday Feb. 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Adams-Perfect 1650 new Northfield, NJ 08225. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
