Raymundo E. Herrera, 75, of Egg Harbor Township passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Born and raised in Cavite City, Philippines, he studied Aircraft Mechanics and worked in Guam, Wake Island and various cities in the continental United States maintaining US military aircrafts and commercial airplanes for private companies such as Pan American Airways, McDonnell-Douglas, Lockheed and Boeing. He enjoyed dancing, bowling, fishing and watching tennis and boxing. Gifted with a great sense of humor, he is well-loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by his bereaved wife, Carolina, three children Raylyn Madriaga (married to Efren), Rodolfo (married to Marilyn Ambay), Estrellita de Leon (married to Nilo) and six grandchildren - Bryan, Annalyn, Kristina, Christopher, Rudolph James and Julian.
Viewing will be on Friday, August 23 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes at 1650 New Road in Northfield and on Saturday, August 24 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am before the funeral mass at the Church of St. Katharine Drexel at 6075 West Jersey Avenue in Egg Harbor Township
Private cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
