Pierino Borsani, aged 89 years of Atlantic City, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 18, 1919 in Mozzate, Italy, he was the son of the late Geraldo and the late Emilia Borsani.
Mr. Borsani had worked as a self-employed carpenter.
He enjoyed watching sports, most especially soccer. Mr. Borsani loved Sunday’s because that was “ family day ” in the Borsani household.
He is survived by his wife Maria M. ( nee Brinkmann ) Borsani, his three sons Erno Borsani of Mays Landing, Emilio Borsani, and his wife Pat, of Egg Harbor Township and Alfredo Borsani, and his wife Fran, of Ventnor ; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Mr. Borsani was preceded in death by his grandson Peter A. “ Pete ” Borsani, who passed away on June 26, 2007, as well as his two sisters and three brothers.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 10:00 AM. to 11:00 AM., in the Adams – Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc., 1650 New Road in Northfield, where a Prayer Service will be offered at 11:00 AM., with the Reverend Monsignor Dominic Bottino officiating.
Interment will then follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery on the Harding Highway in Mays Landing.
