Mcristch Donald  Chappell
Mcristch Donald Chappell, 83 of Mays Landing, passed away on November 10, 2020.

He was born on October 3, 1937 in South Boston, Virginia to Arkilee Harris and Oscar Chappell. “Mack” as he was affectionately called later moved to Pleasantville, NJ where he lived until his departure.

Mack was employed as a New Jersey Transit Bus Driver where he later retired after 22 years. He was a long-established member of New Hope Baptist Church. He also served as a member and past president of the NAACP. Mack enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to fish, shoot pool, and fix his car amongst many other things, a jack of all trades.

Mack was predeceased by his mother, Arkielle Chappell; his father, Oscar Chappell; wife, Violet Page Chappell; daughter, Freda (Chappell) Young; and son, Herbert Adderly.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, one brother, James Chappell, Sr. (Minnie); son, Mohammed Kamal (Nadida), Mcristch Chappell, Jr., and Anthony Chappell (Leslie); and daughters, Donna Chappell, Alicia Chappell (Odell), and Pamela English. Mack also leaves a host of grandchildren to carry on his legacy.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 10-11am with a service beginning at 11am at New Hope Baptist Church, 704 Lexington Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. Interment will follow at Atlantic City Cemetery.
