Raymond & Berniece Jones

First and foremost, to my Mom, my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and Family of the McGowan and Miller families. Our deepest condolences to all of you in this time of sorrow. I know the pain of losing siblings, it will have an effect on you like no other. Out of all of Aunt Martha’s siblings she was the only sister who didn’t have any children of her own but she had all of her nieces and nephews too be that second mother too. Aunt Martha was the Aunt that you could go to for advice on topics that you might not want to bring to your parents. Aunt Martha was that Aunt who would give you the scoop when the other adults would be like that’s grown-ups business. I was able to have a long conversation a few months ago when I was home. We were at the nursing home visiting my Mom, visiting hours was almost over and I mentioned that I was about to get something to eat. Aunt Martha said come past the house she had made some green beans, black eyed peas with rice and some rotersiery chicken. We sat down to eat and she had her signature Moscato we talked about two hours about so much that happened from the last time I was home and many things that i had no understanding of when i was small. We have lost another member of our family her wise insight will be greatly missed her soul will be gathered with our family in heaven. We love you Aunt Martha and you will be missed dearly until we meet again.
