Mark Wayne Hawkins “ Daddy Mark ”, 44 of Pleasantville, who passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2009.
He was a self employed Masonry Contractor, who was predeceased by his parents Luke Xavier and Reverend Joyce R. Hawkins ; he is survived by his wife Milda M. ( Rosario ) Hawkins, his children Mark, Rasheed, Anna, Lewis and Quay, his grandchildren Yanaijah, Yanirah, Sanaiya, Yaseer, Teriek, Saahir, Samir and Julian ; sisters Sharon, Kimberlee and Phyllis, sister-in-law Adrienne Coleman, his brothers Wendell and Luke, brothers-in-law Anthony Scott, Sr. and Tony Faulcon ; also surviving are his aunts Rev. Shirley E. Ellis and Rev. Barbara L. Thomas, uncles Charles Thomas and Richard Seiler as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, friend an all “ American guy ” who will be truly sadly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, January 30, 2009 from 5:00 PM. to 8:00 PM., at Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc., 5 North Second Street in Pleasantville, and again on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 10:00 AM. to 11:00 AM., at the Calvary Baptist Church, 111-113 North Third Street in Pleasantville, where a Home Going Service will take place at 11:00 AM.
Interment will then follow in the Atlantic City Cemetery on the Black Horse Pike in Pleasantville.
