Obituary for Marguerite Coyle (Douglas)

Marguerite Coyle (Douglas)
Coyle, Marguerite Mabe, 84 – passed away peacefully with her loving daughter Debra, son-in-law Thomas, and AtlantiCare Hospice by her side on January 3, 2014.
Marguerite was affectionately known as “MRS. WALLACE,” the owner of WALLACE'S FURNITURE BARN, for forty-four years. She divided her time between homes in Absecon, NJ and Jupiter, FL. Her strong work ethic and generosity were evident in the organizations she supported, which included both the Brigantine and Palm Beach Gardens Lions Clubs. She was a former member of the Galloway Township Chamber of Commerce, and was involved with the Egg Harbor Township PTA. For many years Marguerite especially enjoyed her time as a hostess for the Miss Brigantine Pageant, as well as ballroom dancing, traveling throughout the world, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends. It gave her great joy to be able to attend the Miss America Pageant Parade, one more time, last September.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and husbands Wallace Mabe and Joseph Coyle. She is survived by her sons Wallace (Donna) and Douglas, her daughter Debra (Mabe), son-in-law Thomas Caprioli, special friends in Jupiter, FL, Henry and Virginia Hanner, two sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brigantine Lions Club, PO Box 182, Brigantine, NJ 08203, or to AtlantiCare Hospice, 6550 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
