Loretta F. Oglesby (Self), 82, of Pleasantville, NJ passed away Monday, February 7, 2022. Loretta lived a full and blessed life, always surrounded by family. Loretta worked at Lenox China in Pomona for 28 years as a selector. She was known for her "Banana Pudding" and was willing to share. Loretta loved to bowl and watch the Mets. She loved to travel and when she was not away you would see her riding around in her red Cadillac or her big yellow three wheel trike. She is survived by her sister Ruth Self, her seven children; Skeeta Self, Walter John Oglesby, Jason Oglesby, Joel Oglesby (Josephine) , and daughters; LaVern Ames (Terry), Loretta Duncan (Mark), Laura Small (Jesse), and her care giver Mary Ames and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Loretta will be missed and fondly remembered by all. Homegoing Celebration Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00am at Heavensway Baptist Church located on 5082 Tremont Avenue Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. Viewing will begin at 9:30am until time of service starting at 11:00am. The Family has requested for everyone to wear some form of red, her favorite color.
