The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Eastlack can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

When we were children.

Kenny is my cousin and I remember Kenny, David and Diana very fondly.  I played at their old house alot as families get together often.  Not only do I remember the old house, but I remember when the parkway told them they would give them money for the house because they were going to build right through the house.

My dad helped my uncle build the new house (even though Uncle Wil (Kenny's dad) was a builder.  Even all of us kids helped.  My uncle told us if we hammered a nail in the building of the house that meant we helped build it.  They were fun days for all of us.  In those times Kenny was more of a loner.  Remember we were all  pretty young then.  We all went in difierent directions out of high school and didn't see each other much until the funerals began.  First Kenny's dad, then his mom, then my mom and finally my dad.

Ken's sister Diana and I were born on the same day, four years apart.  We have stayed in touch all of these years and the two of share our birthday today...somehow fitting that we should be together with the family to remember the joys and some hardships to of Kenny.  He will be sadly missed.
