Joseph "Jerry"  Salomone Jr.
Salomone Jr., Joseph "Jerry" 48 of Absecon passed away suddenly Thursday August 25, 2016. Born on July 2, 1968, in South Amboy, NJ.

He was a loving husband of 16 years to his beloved wife Jennifer Salomone. He is survived by his parents Joseph and Gail Salomone, of Fort Myers, FL.

Jerry graduated from Holy Spirit High school in 1986 and furthered his education by going to American Marine Institute in Daytona, Florida 1988. He worked for Art Merrill Marine as a marine mechanic for many years and it was where he met his wife, Jennifer. Jerry loved his family and pets. He was a diehard Dolphins fan and played in a few Fantasy Football Leagues. He also enjoyed Boating and Fishing. He loved the thrill of a bent rod and the line screaming off the reel.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his brother Scott Salomone (Angie) of Fort Mill, SC;Sisters Janet Shearer (Mark) of Westminster, MD, and Karen Lathrop (Cameron) of Fort Mill, SC; his Nieces Julianna Shearer, Audra Foss, Makayla Lathrop and Nephews Tanner Lathrop and Matthew and David Foss, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes 1650 New Road in Northfield, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, on Wednesday August 31, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church 591 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ
