Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Rush can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Ellen and Family,

I was so sadden to hear of John's Passing. Although we have not seen each other in many years you can not take away our childhood memories, of which I have many. You can not replace those days growing up in the inlet.

I will not be able to attend his service as I am down at my home in Florida. Please know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family on Saturday.

Condolence: Johnie was a big part of my life as well as my son pasquale life. John and Ellen were like a mom and dad to me. Johnie was my sons life in fact this weekend would have been a Hugh weekend for Johnie and my son. pasquale is graduating may 12 2018 and being commissioned in the us navy Sunday may 13 2018 and John rush was suppose to pin my son. Johnie we will be thinking of you.johnie thank you for all you have done for me and my son I will miss you terrible.
