Obituary for Harry J Vanore

Harry J. Vanore
February 20, 1922-January 18, 2022
Harry passed just 34 days before his 100th birthday!
He was married to Josephine Pagano (deceased) for 73 years. Harry had 3 sons, Harry Jr. (deceased) Fred (Jeannie) and Joseph.
He made sure his 3 boys got the education, skills and his support necessary to have successful lives. Harry treasured his grandsons, Jason (deceased) and Damian. He was always the first to be there for them whenever they needed anything.
He loved his 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He also loved Josephine Pagano's family of 5 sisters and 3 brothers and spouses. He enjoyed all of his 40 plus nieces and nephews and their spouses; most of them called him Uncle Har.
Harry was a real sportsman, playing hardball into his late 30's, golfing until his 80's and championship bocce well into his 90's and he loved his Phillies.
Harry had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was a kind and gentle soul. Harry's mantra was "treat everyone like you want to be treated ". He was the life of the party at Brandall Estates for the last 5 years of his life. Harry was very charitable working for the church, fund raising for Sons of Italy and Project for Independent Living and any other charity you can think of.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the St Gianna Catholic Church in Northfield, NJ to celebrate his life.
Please send donations to the charity of your choice.
