The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gerald Kerfoot can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thomas Ford

Gerry was a man's man. I miss Gerry and will always remember him. When I met Gerry, through conversation I found he was a friend of my mothers cousin, years before I was born. Gerry was a staple of Southwest Philly and one of its colorful characters. Gerry told me many stories of his life and they were very interesting, he liked me and trusted me, and I the same with him. He loved jokes and I could always have a laugh with him when I visited, I will miss that but I also feel good when I think about those times. I think of Gerry often, we both worked in the same trade and that made it easy to connect with him, my son whose grandparents were deceased when he was born, made the statement that now he knows how it feels to lose a grandparent on learning of Gerry's death. Rest in peace my friend.
