Obituary for Geneen Lysette Gerald Womack (Gerald)

Geneen Lysette Gerald Womack (Gerald)
Gerald-Womack, Geneen Lysette, 38, daughter of David Gerald and Genoria Gerald (Johnson) was born in Somers Point, NJ on May 25, 1978. She departed this life on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Shore Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Geneen attended Ocean City Public Schools during her younger years. She always had a heart-felt passion for song and dance and was involved in various activities throughout school. At an early age she accepted Christ into her life where she attended the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She sang on the choir and was known for her melodic voice. After graduating Ocean City High School in 1996 she went on to attend Atlantic Community College.

Soon after, Geneen went on to have her most precious gifts starting in the year 2000, sons Jordan, Elijah and daughter Aliyah. All of her children were such a blessing to her and if you ran into her you would definitely know this. In later years, Geneen met the love of her life and wed Archie Womack with whom she resided in Pleasantville, NJ.

Geneen had a very boisterous personality and never met a stranger. She had a smile that was contagious and would light up a room wherever she was.
She was preceded in death by her father David Gerald and leaves to cherish her fond memory; her children, Jordan, Elijah and Aliyah; her husband Archie Womack; her mother, Genoria Gerald of Ocean City; sister, Connie Gerald of Somers Point; brother, David Gerald of Vineland; mother-in-law; Lucille Womack, sister-in-law, Ann Womack; aunt, Modestine Redden (Dave) of Columbia SC; nephews, Amir, James, Khyrie, and nieces Amani and Tamia; step-children, Amir, Amyra and Amanda Womack; and a host of family and friends.
