Patterson, Frank, 82 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013.

Born in Somers Point on February 11, 1931, he was one of five siblings. He served honorably in the US Army during the occupation of Germany, and in the Berlin Airlift. He was a Korean War Veteran.

Frank worked for Quaker City Tree Surgeons, and then for Atlantic City Electric for 31 years.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Myrtle (nee Mason); his children, Patty Ann Aspenberg (Guy), Frank T. Patterson (Brenda) and Debbie Conover (Craig); seven grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly: Christy, Brian (Heather), Kelly Beth (Edward), Frankie (Krystal), Jeanny (Josh), Janelle, and Clarissa; two great grandchildren, Liam and Mylamae; his brother, Donald Myers; and his sisters, Charlotte Lane and Alice Carmen. He was predeceased by his brother, Bill.

Frank was a master duck carver. He also enjoyed scrapbooking, and he read the bible cover to cover each year.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 1:00pm at Asbury United Methodist Church, 290 Asbury Road, Egg Harbor Township. A viewing will be held from 12:00pm until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be held in Asbury Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
