Frances Theresa  Westenberger
Westenberger, Frances Williams, at age 100, wife of the late Charles J. Westenberger, passed away on June 11, 2016.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to Clara and John Williams, she was predeceased by her siblings: Elizabeth Holcomb, Ida Boeck, Ruth Williams, Ella Neary, and David Williams.

She was a member of Sodality of Our Lady of Peace Church, Milmont Park, PA, and a graduate of South Philadelphia High School for Girls. Frances also attended Community College of Delaware County in Media, PA for two years.

During her early years of employment, Frances worked in sales at both W.T. Grant and Great American Tea Co., both in Philadelphia, PA. During World War II she worked for A.C. F. Brills. However, her favorite position was as an office supervisor for Nathan Schwartz Textiles in N.W. Philadelphia, where she was employed for many years.

After Frances and Charles retired, they moved to South Jersey to be close to her sister, Ella, as they and Ella loved fishing. They also enjoyed vacations along the East Coast to explore historic places like Plymouth, MA, Brandywine, Washington Crossing, and other famous places.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Road, Northfield. Entombment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Philadelphia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances' memory to Hospitaler Sisters of Mercy, 917 South Main Street, Pleasantville, NJ 08232
