Obituary for Donald P. Hagerty Jr.

Donald P. Hagerty Jr.
Hagerty, Jr., Donald P., 55, of Egg Harbor Twp, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 surrounded by family.

Donald was born in Lancaster, PA. and was raised in Somerset County, NJ. He worked as a document investigator for Motor Vehicle Commission for 15 years. He was a Vice President of Local 1038. Donald had an extreme love for music, especially guitar and bass. He loved the Beatles, Formula-1 Racing and the NASA Space Program.

Donald is predeceased by his daughter, Erin Elizabeth Hagerty; his parents, Donald P. Hagerty, Sr. and Doris Shirley Hagerty; and his mother in law, Ellen Pauline Buckley.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carolyn Hagerty; daughter, Caitlin Shea Hagerty; son, Ryan Patrick Hagerty; sisters, Kathleen Hagerty and Amy Kropinack (Michael); as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16th from 6pm until 8pm and again on Thursday, March 17th from 10am until 11am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield, with a funeral service following at 11am. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Donald's children college educational fund can be made at any TD Bank branch.
