Obituary for Domenico Russano

Domenico  Russano
Domenico Russano, 85, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was born in Santa Maria LaFossa, Italy and immigrated to New York through Ellis Island in 1956. He is pre-deceased by his father Sabastiano & Ilda, his brother Stefano, & his sister Madalena. Domenico was a life long resident of New Gretna, where he established his farm that he was so passionate about. Domenico also took pride in making his homemade wine and brandy. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to go horse back riding with his family and friends every chance he got. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Delores, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, his beloved children Frank Russano (Diane), Domenico Russano (Donna), Hilda Thibault (Karl), & Jennifer Grasso. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Danielle, Antoinette, Dominic III, Cassandra, Brittany, Dylan, Emily, Giovanni, Sofia, Sontino, his great grandchildren, Savannah, Travis, Dominic IV, Tyler, Alyssa, Arron, Gina, Grace, Samantha. Domenico had many nieces, & nephews that he adored.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 7th from 6:30pm-9pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 8th at 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (Assumption Church), 146 S. Pitney Road, Galloway. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton.
