Obituary for David C. Leopardi
Leopardi, David C. 73 of Northfield, NJ passed away on Sunday at Shore Medical Center.
Born in Atlantic City, Dave was an area resident all of his life. He graduated from Pleasantville High School and attended Wesley College. He served in the United States Navy from 1961-1966. Dave started his career as a liquor salesman for J & J Liquors and then spent the next thirty years with Harrison Beverage, Co. before retiring.
He is predeceased by his parents; Rocco and Lena Leopardi, and his sister, Lois Bartholomew.
Dave is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Joy "Bunny" Leopardi, his two sons; Brett (Renee) Leopardi, and Scott (Paul Ogbin) Leopardi, his two grandchildren; Samuel and Gabriella Leopardi, and many loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Always up for a fun time and sharing a few laughs, Dave enjoyed his cocktails and golf and was the best friend a friend could ever ask for. Some of his best memories included playing softball with “The Over the Hill Gang,” golf trips to Myrtle Beach, and Happy Hours with his buddies at his favorite Somers Point establishments.
A Gathering with the family will be held on Friday, July 29th from 9:30am til 11am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Rd. Northfield, NJ 08225. A service will follow at 11am. Burial will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village, Dream Village Road, 5400 Country Rd 547 N, Davenport, FL 33837.
