Carolyn Joyce  Krause
Carolyn Joyce Krause 93 passed away on February 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New York on April 24, 1920 and was a resident of Northfield since 1951.

Joyce waittressed at Atlantic City Country Club and Linwood Country Club for many years. She had a zest for life and enjoyed going to the beach, crabbing and especially traveling. Joyce was proud of her yearly ritual of raking can upon can of leaves, and she continued to take care of her yard through this past fall. She was a longstanding member of TAGS and "The Granny Club".

She took pride in cooking for others, Her famous apple cake and delicious potato salad will be missed by many. Among her many pastimes, playing scrabble was her favorite.
Joyce never met a soul she didn't like and took great pleasure in the simple things in life.

She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Edward. She is survived by her loving family: daughter Carolyn Miller, son Lauren "Luke" Clark, daughter Kristine Stapleton (Gary), son Edward (Kim), grandchildren Stephen Baltera, Cori Crowley, Luke Clark and Bryan Stapleton,and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 1, 2014 at 11 am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ. Gathering with the family will be held from 10 am to 11 am. Interment to follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.

Donations may be made to the AtlantiCare Foundation, 2500 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 in Carolyn's memory.
