Terne, Caroline R., 71 of Somers Point, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Caroline was the owner and operator of Ocean City Express for 30 years, until her retirement in 1998. She loved her family, friends, and traveling. Her two granddaughters were the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank, Jr.; her sons, Frank III (fiance Anne Madigan), and Thomas (wife Lori); granddaughters Faith and Briella; her brother, Thomas Scott; many nieces and nephews; and many friends, especially Joan Carson and Joanne Maguire.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:00am at Central United Methodist Church, 5 Marvin Avenue, Linwood. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will be held privately.
