McGowan, Britt Jr., 68 of Pleasantville, passed away on February 5, 2012.

Predeceased by his parents, Martha and Britt McGowan, Sr, he is survived by his siblings: Ernestine Cooper of Pleasantville, Ada Bradley of Pleasantville, Richard McGowan of Atlantic City, Kathryn Jones of Atlantic City, Bessie McGowan of Egg Harbor Twp., Alice McGowan-Pineda of Mullica Twp., Martha McGowan of Pleasantville, and Paul E. McGowan of Baltimore, MD; his aunts, Ethel Derry and Catherine Miller; his uncle, Eddie Miller; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Britt was an avid fisherman, and hunter; he loved being on the water. He will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10th at 11:00am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.
