MCGHEE, ANNE - 97, Pleasantville, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2016. Anne was born in Carthage, NC. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Pleasantville, for 60 years and a longtime member of the Pleasantville Garden Club. She was very active in all of her children's activities and school programs. Prior to marrying in 1946 Anne worked for Bell Telephone and again from 1964 until 1982, was a lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America and an Honorary Life Member of the Communications Workers of America. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, a former WW2 USAAF pilot, in 1995 and twin sister Bonnie in 2012. Anne is survived by daughter Linda Allen (Steve), sons Gary (Jeanne) and Jack (Theresa), grandsons Gary Jr. and Sean, sister at heart Dolores Wagner, play-pal Diane McGhee and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to and condolences may be sent to the family at www.adams-perfect.com
