Ann Marie  Hampton
Hampton, Anna Marie (nee Hutchinson) Arrom- 90 of Smithville (formerly of Absecon and Northfield) died June 22, 2016. Daughter of Lester and Lena Hutchinson. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence Hampton, son Albert Arrom (Rosanne) and grandson Tad DiLorenzo (Sharon). Anna is survived by daughters, Constance Arrom Whitely (Burrell), Marjorie Arrom Wolf (Jerry) and son Robert Arrom (Trish), Stepdaughters, Joyce Hampton Pullan, Joan Hampton Holt, and stepson Lawrence Hampton Jr.; grandchildren Constance DiLorenzo Walls (Kevin), Robert Arrom, Jr. (Jennifer), Jennifer Arrom Lupton (Edward), Jason Arrom(Allsion), Zachary Arrom, Ehren Butler (Heather), Justin Butler (Heather) and many precious great grandchildren. Anna enjoyed serving the Lord in various churches she attended throughout her life. She is fondly remembered as the youth leader at the Absecon Presbyterian Church. She owned and operated the Ship's Tea Room on the whitehorse pike in Absecon in the 1970's. She was an active member at the Central Methodist Church in Northfield. As a senior, she attended the Emmaus Methodist Church near her home in Smithville. Anna and her husband Larry visited many countries throughout the world. They spent their winters in Florida, autmn in New England and always loooked forward to returning to their home at the New Jersey Shore. Affectionately known as Nan to many, her loss is deeply felt. A visitation will be held on Sunday June 26, 2016 from 1- 2 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM at Adams -Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ 08225. Burial will be private.
