Bishop, Amy Lynn – 43, from Egg Harbor City passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Somers Point, NJ. Amy grew up in Northfield, attending the Northfield schools. Amy attended Mainland High School 1987 to 1990 she graduated Absegami High School in 1991. She attended Atlantic Community College and obtained her Real Estate License then went on to work alongside her mother in the family real estate business. Amy loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to travel, taking trips to swim with the dolphins and skiing. Amy loved to make others happy and always cared about her family and friends. Amy will be missed by all who loved her, her wonderful sense of humor, beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Amy’s biggest joy in her life was her son, whom she loved with all her heart and wanted the best for him. Her smile would be the brightest for him. Amy leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Joseph “Joey” Furst, mother, Patricia Hydock (Steve), father, Frederick “Ron” Bishop (Michelle), brothers Jason Bishop (Lisa), Frederick Bishop, and her “little sister” Allison Bishop, a nephew, Jason and niece, Mariana and special friend, Joe Furst, Sr. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11 am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ 08225. A visitation will be held 9 AM until 11 AM prior to the service.
