Patricia (Patty) Laird (Loefflad), -60, of Somers Point, passed away February 2, 2021 after a brief illness. Patty was a lifelong resident of Somers Point. She was a 1978 graduate of Holy Spirit High School, and was very proud to have received the Athlete of The Year Award. Patty continued her education at Ursinus College, graduating in 1982.

Patty was most recently a well-respected and dedicated employee of Ocean First Bank. Prior to her employment at Ocean First she was employed by Commerce Bank and Cape Savings Bank. Patty enjoyed spending her summers on the Longport Beach with her friends and family members. She had aspirations of moving to Southwest Florida in her retirement to spend time with her son who resides in Cape Coral, FL.

Patty was predeceased by her father Joseph Francis Loefflad , Sr. She leaves behind her sons, James Laird and Joseph Laird (Merrill Anderson), her mother Anne Loefflad; three brothers Joseph Loefflad, Jr. (Dana), Michael Loefflad (Gina) and Robert Loefflad, and her nephews David (Brielle) and Jack.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private burial service was held on Saturday, February 13, 2021. A Celebration of Life mass is scheduled for Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Church, 606 Shore Road in Somers Point .
