Obituary for James S Ernst Jr.
Ernst, Jr., James S. "Sharkey", 54, of Mays Landing, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at AtlantiCare in Pomona. Born in Atlantic City and raised in Chelsea Heights. James graduated from the Atlantic City High School. He worked as a lifeguard for Atlantic City Beach Patrol for several years. He also worked as a tile setter for Local 77. James enjoyed boxing and playing poker at the casinos. He loved surfing and spent a couple years living in Hawaii.
He was predeceased by his father, James S. Ernst, Sr.; and his nephew, Justin Ernst.
James is survived by his daughter, Nicole Francisco (Don); grandchildren, Annabella, Vincent, and Emma; mother, Jackie Ernst; brother, Jon Ernst (Patty); sister, Mary Andreadis (Scott); nieces, Alyssa, Lauren, and Marquella; nephews, Jonathan and Domenic; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville.
The family request you come dressed in beach casual attire, (even flip-flops if you desire)
Arrangements entrusted to and condolences for the family may be left at Adams-Perfect.com
