Benjamin Lewis Bazemore, Jr was born April 18, 1950 to the Late Benjamin Bazemore, Sr. and Lucinda(Hendrix) Bazemore He departed this life Thursday, May 5, 2016 at sundown.
He was educated in the North Carolina school system. In December 1967, Ben married the love of his life: Anna (Overton) Bazemore. There are five (5) Children, Kim "Ben"(Malisa), Beverly(Leo), Sonia(Ray), Angelic(Frank), Martina(Rick), (11) grandchildren and (2) great grandchildren. Left to mourn his loss are: his wife, children, grandchildren, great grand children, 3 sisters: Mary(Tye), Ben’s twin: Bettie(Ernest), Roxana, and a special brother in-law; Jessie Overton(Barbara), whom he thought of as a brother.
His parents, brother Jesse and sister Queenie, preceded him in death. He has several aunts, an uncle, several special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. To his nieces and nephews, he was “Funny Uncle Ben”. He was special to them and their friends. Family was special to Ben. Ben lived life to the fullest with his truck, cooler, drinks, and fishing. He was employed for many years by Sears Repair Service. His last employment was in construction. Ben fought a good fight and always tried to spare his family the agony of the pain he was going through. We loved him but God loved him more, and knew it was time to call him home to rest. He’s now resting in arms of the Almighty. We will forever miss him! A visitation and service will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ 08225 from 4-6 PM with a service to follow at 6:00 PM. Another service and burial will be held on Saturday May 14, 2016 at the Aulander Baptist Church and Cemetery Aulander, NC. Arrangements and condolences at www.adams-perfect.com.
