The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Bird can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Uncle George where do I begin. My memories of you will mostly be of your wise crack remarks that I will surely miss. But most of all the memories as a child when we would come up for vacation and have those huge family bbq's in the back yard and hit the lake. May your spirit always watch over us all and your grace always be felt. We will all miss you! RIP

Love Terry

Condolence: Altho I'm a few years older than George we were pretty good friends over the years.

So sad to hear about him passing away. To his family I am truly sorry that you have lost a "Good Guy"

Heads up, life goes on. George did what he was supposed to do. Served his Country, had a family and a responsible business. Can't do any better than that.
