It was wonderful to have Bob and Ruth live right down the hall from our Recreation Therapy office here at Meadow Ridge Personal Care at Willow Valley Retirement Communities. They were wonderful "neighbors". Every week Bob came early to Bingo and placed Bingo cards and Bingo chips at each seat for all of the Bingo players. He was always ready and willing to help us. One time Bob spoke to the other Residents at Meadow Ridge at our Town Meeting and told them how hard we work in our department to come up with ideas, to gather Residents for activities, and to make them happy. It touched me that he would talk about us at a Town Meeting.We truly appreciated Bob's kindness. We really miss Bob. He had a great smile and laugh, always welcomed a hug, had a great sense of justice and fairness and was ready and willing to help you anytime. Bob truly loved his family and dear Ruth was the light of his life and he was so very proud of her. He was so excited when he knew family was coming to visit! Those visits made him so happy. Last of all, Bob was a good Christian man. He loved the Lord, and followed his ways and it showed. I know in my heart exactly where Bob is, and I know he's having a great day in heaven today! Have a wonderful time Bob! You deserve it!! I know you're happy to get rid of your scooter! :) Celebrating Bob's life on earth and his new life in Heaven!
