Merceda Gooding

On the behalf of the Goodings Family from North Carolina, I (Merceda Gooding) send condolences to the Vance Family. My parents George and Silver Gooding always loved Kaye and deeply hurt of how her life was taken away. My parents put her pictures on the family wall as part of our family. Kaye always made my father and mother laugh with her jokes and fun personality. She would call them from time to time especially my mother to check up on them. She always told them at the end of the conversation that she loved them that touch their hearts. Kaye done so many things to touch the lives of others that many may not know about. She was a passionate advocate in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the behalf of the vulnerable community. She tirelessly lobbied in Washington, DC for low income housing, served at Sisters Jean Kitchen, worked on political campaigns, a mother, a grandmother and loved by all people. I will miss her especially her playful calls and laughter. She would always and never be forgotten. Sincerely,
