Obituary for Marjorie R. Morgan (Robinson)

MORGAN, MARJORIE R. – 97, formerly of Linwood, passed away on August 30, 2016 at Willow Valley Manor in Willow Street, PA.

She was born on March 7, 1919 in Curwensville, Clearfield County, PA to the late Arthur and Estelle Shearer Robinson. She was a graduate of the Drexel Institute Secretarial Program. Prior to moving to Willow Valley Manor in 1998, she was a resident of Northfield and Linwood. She had been a member of the Salem Methodist Church, where she served as church secretary, and the Central Methodist Church. Marge also worked for Atlantic City Electric for a number of years in the Commercial and Industrial Department. While living in Northfield and Linwood, Marge was a Cub Scout leader, and was active with the Pleasantville Garden Club, the Pleasantville Rotary-Annes, and the Eastern Star.

Marge is survived by her grandchildren, Keith Hinson (Tara), and Niki Learn (David); four great granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews; and her stepson, Charles Morgan, Jr. (Colleen). She was predeceased by her children, Dan Wilhelmy and Nancy Hinson; and her husband, Charles Morgan. Marge was also predeceased by a sister, Emily Louise Whitenack; and a brother, James Arthur Robinson.

Services will be held at Adams – Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield on Monday, September 5, 2016 starting at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the funeral home starting at 10:00 AM the day of the funeral. Interment will be in Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
