Obituary for Julia L. Rosso

Julia L. Rosso
Rosso, Julie Lorraine, 67 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away the morning of June 21, 2016, the first day of summer, in the comfort of her own home after a long battle with cancer.

Julie Rosso was so loved because she so loved you first. She longed for your joyfulness! She was more full of life than anyone you have ever met, and so desired to impart some of that life to you! To say that “she will be missed” so misses the mark! Our longing to see her one day again will never cease to be profound! But we can just bear it, knowing that she is now in glory. Praise be to God, for our beloved Julie is NOW IN GLORY!

Julie was born in Baltimore and also lived in Florida and Texas. She was a lover of nature and plants, and a health enthusiast. She attended Tilton Gym for several years. Julie was a devoted wife of 48 years to her husband, Louis Rosso, whom she supported through all their business ventures, including their most recent business, Black Horse Auto Sales in Egg Harbor Twp.

She was a phenomenal mother of three children, Ronald Rosso (Margie Rosso), Nino Rosso (Sarah Rosso) and Tina Correa (Cesar Correa); loving grandmother of ten grandchildren: Priscilla Phillips (Carl Phillips), Jason Wolfenden (Vicky Wolfenden), Breanna Marzano, Julia Rosso, Ronnie Rosso, Quiara Correa, Cesar Correa, Enzo Rosso, Louis Correa, and Bertilio Correa; and five great-grandchildren: Carl, Luke, Seth, and Selena Phillips, and Jason Wolfenden.

Julie is survived by her husband, Louis Charles Rosso; her sisters, Donna Scordo and Tulsa Lindsey; sisters-in-law, Emilie Burns (Ted Burns) and Florence Rosso; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

She was predeceased by her father, Millard Lindsey; mother Dorothy Lindsey; her sister in-law, Marie Gorham (Tom Gorham); her sister, Phyllis Lindsey; and her brother in-law, Michael Marcinkowski.

A viewing will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, Northfield. A service will be held at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery, 290 Asbury Rd, Egg Harbor Twp.

Donations may be made in Julie’s honor to the Salvation Army and/or National Right to Life.
