Helen B  Hanlon
Helen B. Hanlon passed away June 9, 2016, one month shy of her 98th birthday in Louisville, KY, surrounded by her children and caregiver.
Born on July 9, 1918, in Wilmington, DE, Helen spent her childhood in Egg Harbor Township and Bay Shore, Long Island. An administrative assistant for many years, she was employed by Atlantic City Electric Company, where she met her husband Paul, ACUA, and the Atlantic City Convention Bureau. In 1942, she married Paul and they lived in Atlantic City, Northfield, and West Atlantic City. In 2011, she moved to Louisville to live with her son and daughter-in-law where she enjoyed the company of a husky named Sadie.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of sixty-five years, Paul G. Hanlon Sr.; father, Ellsworth V. Bahrman and mother, Augusta V. Bahrman Emsley; her stepmother, Mary K DiMedio; and, her brother, Ellsworth Bahrman. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Warner (Bob) and son, Paul G. Hanlon Jr. (Andrea), her brother, Thor H. Bahrman (Millie), nephews and a niece. Grammy, as she was affectionately known, is also survived by her granddaughters—Tiffany, Jennifer, Kristen, and Kelly—and their families, including six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, June 24. at Adams Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Rd., Northfield, NJ, from 10 – 11 am with service to follow at 11am. Burial at Laurel Memorial Park.
