Obituary for John G Remy

John G  Remy
Remy, John G 79, of EHT passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Marie of 55 years at his side on May 21, 2016. John, known as Jack was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, resided in Bensalem, PA for 35 years before moving to Egg Harbor Twp, NJ in 2000. Jack was veteran of the US Army and served in Germany during the cold war. He retired after 40 years as a maintenance mechanic at a chemical plant in Bensalem. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church in Levittown, PA as well as an active member in the Great Shepherd Prayer Community also in Levittown. Upon moving to NJ he was currently a parishioner of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in EHT. He was a talented artist, a builder, a sportsman, and a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler's Fan. He was loved by all for his kindness and great sense of humor. He had a deep faith in God and was a man of prayer. He was a very loving husband and father. He was predeceased by his father George, Mother Minnie Sesky, sisters, Ethel, Elizabeth and Martha. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, James Remy, Lynn Tamanini( Joseph), Michele Remy and grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, and William Remy, Jennifer, Anthony, Justin and Shawn Tamanini and Jonny. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road Northfield, NJ 08225. A Mass of christian burial will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Katharine Drexel R. C. Church 6075 W. Jersey Avenue Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
