Obituary for Judith A Leonardo (Weinmaster)

Judith A  Leonardo (Weinmaster)
Leonardo (Weinmaster), Judith, 68, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on May 16, 2016. Born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Emil (Bud) Weinmaster and Dorothy Weinmaster. She was a graduate of Atlantic City High School, and ACCC, and worked for Atlantic City Medical Center for 42 years before her retirement. Judy resided in EHT for over 30 years before settling down at The Fairways in Mays Landing, where she made numerous friends. She was a member of the Fairways Line Dancers, played bingo, and always looked forward to the Saturday breakfast bunch. Judy loved to dance. She started dancing at age 2 at Miss Price’s studio in Atlantic City and her love of dance continued throughout her life. Judy was a proud Life Member of the Cardiff Vol. Fire Co. Auxiliary for 15 years.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Michael Leonardo. They were married for almost 48 years, and shared many wonderful times together, playing golf and traveling extensively, especially in recent years. She is also survived by her children, Nicole Pratt (David), Michele Kotakis (John), and Michael Jr; her grandchildren, Jimmy, Joey, and Jordan Kotakis, and Mary Pratt; her sisters, Jean Gracco (Al) and Janet Brown; her nieces Cheryl and Angela; her nephew Bobby; her brother in law, Vincent Leonardo (Debbie); her sister in law Gloria Price (Russ); and numerous other family members. She was also blessed with many friends, some who are truly angels, especially lifelong friends, Jane Pershing, Grace Hall and Carolyn Vincent.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22nd, from 6-8 pm at Adams Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, and again on Monday, May 23rd from 10-11 am at Church of St. Katharine Drexel, 6075 West Jersey Ave, Egg Harbor Township, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial will be at the Atlantic County Veteran’s Cemetery, Estell Manor.
