Obituary for Carl L. Cardile
Cardile, Carl L., 92, of Pleasantville, passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, April 24, 2016.
Carl graduated from Pleasantville High School. He honorably served in the South Pacific with the US Army Air Corp during World War II. Carl worked at the Pleasantville Post Office for 40 years. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Peter's Parish since grade school.
He was predeceased by his parents, Santo and Domenica Cardile; son, Richard; and nine brothers and sisters, including Tony, Sam, Joseph, Mary Ellingsworth, and Jennie Eckert.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marie Sexton Cardile; son, Carl L. Cardile; daughter, Susan Cardile Gifford; grandchildren, Danielle, Amy, and Richard Cardile; and Kasi Gifford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am, on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Rd, Northfield, NJ 08225. A viewing will be from 10 am until the time of the mass. Burial will follow at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 6550 Delilah Rd # 501, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.
Arrangements entrusted to and condolences for the family may be left at Adams-Perfect.com
