Obituary for Joseph Burchell
Burchell, Joseph E Sr. - 72 of Egg Harbor Township, passed away in Fort Myers, FL on January 20, 2016 at Hope Health Care.
He is the son of the late John and Anna (Brown) Burchell. He was a native of Trenton, NJ and a resident of Egg Harbor Township and Ft. Myers Florida. He was a foreman and part owner of Clayton Burchell Storage Containers and was part owner of Coastal Contractors and Engineers. He also was a foreman for Clayton Industries. Joseph was also a heavy equipment operator for Tidewater Utilities. He enjoyed Model T cars and keeping toys running for his grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman in NJ and FL. His favorite past time was his family especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, John Burchell, Sr.; and brother John Burchell. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Elaine (Tomlinson); daughter Lisa Summers (Joe); son Joe Burchell Jr. (Karen); daughter Tina Lavigna (Bob); grandchildren Michael (Lyla), Brandon, Joey, David, Daniel, Ryan, Johnny, Shaun, Anthony, Bobby, Kaylee and Peyton; great grandson Tristan; brother Donald Burchell; sisters Anna Mobley and Jane Scarlet and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27 2016 at Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc., 1650 New Road, Northfield. Visitations will be held on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm and again on Wednesday morning from 10am until 11am prior to the service. Interment will be held at Zion Cemetery, Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
